Mercedes-Benz has also added an optional AMG Line grille for the exterior and luxury seats with back massage and climatisation (heating/cooling). Making its V-Class debut too, is a new engine for the V250d.
That power plant is an improved four-cylinder OM 654 diesel with reduced emission and consumption. The biggest engine in the range (V300d) also delivers an improved 176kW and 500 Nm torque, with an extra 30Nm available via over-torque.
For the first time in the V-Class, the 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission will also be available to increase shifting comfort and fuel efficiency, and is expected to provide a combined fuel economy of around 6.0-litres/100km.
The new look V-Class also gets active brake assist and high-beam assist plus. Local pricing will be confirmed closer to launch.
